Mainly because his owners are goofy and thought it would be funny to buy him a GIANORMOUS bone! I think that bone was meant for a dinosaur! Oh the things you will find at petsmart. We spent $100 on food, toys, training materials and breath treats for Pete last night. $100 dollars! Although, the breath treats were worth it. No more puppy breath for this guy, he's a full blown teenager now. Awkward, lanky, and starting to express his independence. *Sigh* What happened to my little pup! They grow up so fast...
Haha we did the same thing for our dog, we bought one of those enormous bones and it was hilarious to watch her teeter around with that thing in her mouth.

ReplyDeleteWe have THREE dogs (crazy right?) they are all lab mixes of one form or another. The smallest one is about 45lbs and the biggest is around 70lbs. The small one is the one who carried that huge bone around haha.
ReplyDeleteWe used to give our dog Rocky one of these for Christmas every year (it almost lasted a year). He would be so excited! Bill inevitably would have to saw it in half so he could manage it. Rocky died many, many years ago so these pictures brought back some great memories!
ReplyDeletePete chewed a handle into the bone, so now he carries it around, swinging it like a mad man! And he's very acrobatic, running and jumping with it! Hilarious.
