Annual Progressive Dinner

Every year since I was 17, my friends from high school and I get together for a progressive dinner. We do appitizers at one home, dinner at a another, a dessert at another. In high school, it was just a fun time to celbrate durring the holidays, but now it has become a little mini reunion each year.

I dearly love my friends from high school. Of all the people I have encountered in my life, these people are the one's who have made an impact on my that has effected who I am today, and who I will be for the rest of my life. Some of us live far away now, and some of us live in the same city, but every year we come make it a priority to spend time together. I know that as we grow older, have kids, move away, and continue to walk down our paths of life it will be harder and harder to stay in touch. But I hope that we will all continue to keep this tradition going.

Dinner was at my place this year, and I set up a little mini photo booth. Okay, let's be honest, a really ghetto photo booth. That fell apart half way through the night. I'm trying to build something that I could offer at weddings, so this was my maiden voyage into photo booth land. I learned a lot about what to do, and what not to do, but most of all had a lot of fun. I hope this is something I can figure out soon to offer to clients -- it's a blast. Enjoy our goofiness!

  1. These are so fun! You are an incredible photographer even when you aren't even behind the camera! Probably because you have SUCH good ideas!
